So, my parents have a little bit of an ant problem (just a little one), and with Gwen leaving treats all over, the ants get plenty of delicious morsels. Well, Gwen also has been getting some nutrients. She has decided that ants are a good source of protein. She keeps eating them. What's with that? She isn't afraid of the ants at all. She'll pick them up and hold them and talk to them in a high little voice telling them that everything is going to be okay, that they're safe with her, and then she eats them. She'll come up to me and say "delicious" and then stick out her tongue so I can see the little ant corpse. She is a weird one! I didn't do things like that when I was little, but then again, I told everyone that boogers tasted like hot dogs.

I am going to stop reading your blog if you keep posting such disturbing pictures!!!! And make Gwen stop!!!! I think I would throw up seeing them on her tongue. I remember when Jackson was a baby and I caught him eating a dead spider. The legs were still hanging out of his mouth. If that doesn't upset you, I don't know what will!!
surprisingly enough, i would rather have my child eat a bug than a booger. except...no cockroaches. those are vile. oh...and no maggots or other wormy-like insects. i don't like creatures where you can't see their eyes. it's disturbing. maybe that's why i hate boogers.

I cant tell you how much I love Gwenie! She is my favorite little girl to read about because she is seriously on crack so it makes me feel better about the fact that Addi eats dog food by the hand fulls. I miss you. My heart hurts!

Have you tried cornmeal? Ants can't digest it and after they carry it home and try to eat it, they die and the whole ant farm dies. Works like a charm.
Or...you could just have Gwen keep eating them. That seems to work too.
