are you?

I think everyone I know is pregnant and due in May (I know at least 6 of you are...maybe more, I can't remember them all right now). I am not pregnant, however, I think about it a lot.

what do you do?

When your daughter kicks the nurse (trying to give her a shot) in the stomach?
Yep, happened to me on Saturday. We decided to go ahead with the H1N1 thing. We had appointments on Saturday. I feel bad for people that had to wait in lines for hours and hours. I made an appointment, showed up, and was done within 15 minutes...stomaching kicking and all. Gwen did not like the idea of getting a shot and she pulled out a few of her karate moves. Laine, on the other hand, did not make a peep.

When your 3 year old wakes up and comes into your room 10+ times between 4:00 and 5:00 in the morning?
Happened last night. I just kept taking her back to her room, putting her in her bed, threatening her life, and leaving. 3 minutes later she'd be back at the foot of my bed. And let me tell you, by #11 I was not so pleasent.Took everything I had not to "PUT HER TO SLEEP" (name the movie). No need to say, I am a little tired this morning. Laine, on the other hand, did not make a peep.

I see a pattern here.

blast from the past

When I was in Jr. High...and maybe highschool, I was a big fan of the band They Might Be Giants.
In fact, I went to TWO of their concerts with some friends (you know who you are)...and although I still think their music is quite enjoyable...and quirky, I haven't done a lot of listening to them.

Well, Morg found out they were coming to SLC again and that they would be doing the entire Flood album (the best one fore sure), and thought I might enjoy reliving my 9th grade adventures. The concert was last night...and I must say, it was really fun. The venue was full of the biggest geeks, dweebs, and nerds you've ever seen (what does that say about me?), but those are the fans of They Might Be Giants!

I found out that they are now doing childrens music, and just released a new childrens album...hmmm, maybe I can get Gwen and Laine to be big nerds too.

We took a picture of us on Morgs phone, but now can't find the thingy needed to upload to the computer. If I find it, you'll be seeing that picture right about:
