thanks

thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. I have been feeling a lot better now that I've made it into the 2nd trimester. Thank goodness. I'm am excited for this new addition (still nervous), especially to find out what this little critter is. The naming game is not fun. Boy names are EASY. We have a long list. I have a girl name that I like, but Morgan isn't down with it. I told him he could pick the name if it's a boy, and I'll pick it if it's a girl. I'm liking one syllable girls names. Any ideas?

I'm also having fun decorating the nursery...in my mind. That probably really won't be happening until January. Too many projects around the house already. I've been creating quilts...in my head as well. I can't wait to actually make one, but I need to finish the one I've been working on for Gwen first. I better get to it. For the new baby, I saw this quilt on Erica's blog. I think it's simple and cute. I'd probably do different colors, but the pattern is great.

As far as preparing Gwen. Well, she's potty trained. We sent her binkies to Santa last week (turned out to not be as horrible as I thought. The first night was hard, but after that she sort of accepted that she's not getting it back. She'll say "I want my binkies back" sometimes but there's no crying anymore). She knows (but probably not really) that there's a baby in my belly. There is also one in hers now. I showed her where the baby will sleep. I've asked her what we should name it. She says Diego...which is really actually growing on us - but won't happen. I still think she isn't too excited about the idea of a new baby here. We'll see what happens.

I started working at Tai Pan again. About 15 hours a week. It gives me a change to get Christmas decor for cheap. Now that I have a house, I'm excited about decorating it. I actually have a fireplace to hang the stocking on this year. Yay! It also gets me out of the house and gives me a little money for Christmas...or our trip to Mexico that's coming up. Anyone know where to get cute maternity swim suits for cheap (and by cheap I mean under $35)? I don't really want to get one, cause I'll never use it again, but I'm not sure I'll fit into the ones I have by then. Oh well.

I saw some cute swimsuits at Target. Go now though and you can maybe score one for cheap! When in the pee pee are you going to Mexico!? Can I come? When would be a good time for our dress making extravaganza? I just miss you and your Gwenies face!

Target.

I'm excited to find out what you guys are having too. I'm just going to live vicariously through your pregnancy so that I don't have to have another kid. Okay? Thanks.

I'm glad you are feeling better. So I am not surprised you didn't come to visit while I was in Las Vegas. You can come to visit here in Sacramento any time you want...but I won't hold my breath. I still think we need to do a big trip for our 30th...it's a big deal! I say in june when you have had the baby and it is a few months old. Any ideas? Thanks for the birthday wishes...you are now second on the list. Kara called and Jana hasn't even said anything :)!
