1st attempt at quiltingSo, I've decided to take on quilting. Weird I know. Yeah, it's artistic, but, do I know how to sew. No way! Connie (my mother-in-law) gave me one of her sewing machines a few months ago, but I haven't tried to use it yet. Yeah, I experimented with quilting a few months back, but today, I went to a fabric sale, and got material for two quilts. Um, am I crazy? Possibly. I don't even make time for painting (something that I actually know how to do) and here I am trying to make time for quilting. I am going to attempt to make a twin quilt for Gwen for when she gets out of the crib. We'll see how it goes. I'm sure I'll be a total natural and have it done in a week, and you'll all be super jealous....yeah right. I'll post the final quilt when I actually get it done (in a few years haha). Wish me luck!

Dang . . .you are domestic. When did that happen? Don't forget about me when you are being so creative. Just remember that I never intend on finding my talents so I am planning of mooching off of your forever.
WTF? I didn't know you were a quilter. That is dang cute. I'm so glad you have a blog now. It's a bit easier to stay connected when we live so far away. And when you want to accomplish goal #3 on your list, can I be first in line?
