photos

Here are some photos. Not so cute right? No, she's growing on us. We actually think she's pretty cute now. Thanks for all of your comments. We're all doing pretty well so far. Just trying to teach her that she doesn't need someone by her or holding her to sleep at night...even though during the day she'll sleep by herself forever. Come on child. Any advice for getting to sleep in her crib at night?

Ignore me please!. Look at that face.

Gwen meeting Laine. She obviously wasn't so sure about the new addition.

Awesome picture right? Taken right as she blew chunks.

she is darling, you guys. congrats!

as for sleeping in the crib, i have no idea. one friend did tell me she had the same issues as us, and what she did was get a heating pad and turn it on its lowest setting to warm up the crib before placing the baby in. other than that, i don't know. all i can say is good luck, and i hope you all get lots of rest.

listen, she is gorgeous.

all newborns are wrinkly and cross eyed and that's what makes them cute. except some are not cute, laine is not one of those.

the crib sleeping? no tips, we just started napping the nub in his crib during the day and then eventually added nights in too. it just worked that way.

The look on Gwen's face, Priceless! I don't know what your talking about Laine is cute, even when she's spitting up.

The sleeping thing, I agree with Kalli Ko work on it during the day when you're not so blasted tired you can't keep your eyes open...

I think she is amazingly cute! I cant wait to meet her in person (I was so ticked at my mom this weekend that I wouldnt even talk to her...she is making me wait till we can come together, but she is constantly busy...bugged!) Anyway, I was so happy to hear that she didnt make you push her for 3 hours (some hope for me.) I guess I did block out all the other horrid things (mesh panties, squirt bottle, I am do kegles just thinking about that!) I want you to blow up and frame the picture of her puking...I love it! Congrats lady, cant wait till we finally get to play and I can hold her and you can run away to take a nap!

She is beautiful...I love the barf picture the most. Gwenny is changing so much...she looks so much older than the last time I saw her. What darling girls you have! Congrats again.

We can't wait to see her.

I guess since Brett and Gwennie are exactly 9 months apart, I need to get knocked up soon so Laine and #2 can be 9 months apart. I'll work on that.

minus the chunks... very cute. I recommend "Baby Wise" it talks about feeding schedules and helping babies sleep on their own. It worked great for me! (I know unsolicited advise... just what you wanted to hear!)

awwwww! congrats again! hey, we'll be in town the first week of March, if you're up for a visit... Hannah could occupy Gwen for awhile anyway.

she is beautiful! Sounds like you're doiing well.

I think she's too small to still want to sleep in her crib. I know that if I swaddled my girls and used that Bjorn nest (kinda nestles the head) they would sleep better...better really I think it's just hard when they are that little.

p.s. baby wise SO DID NOT WORK for me! You really just have to wait out the first stage and know you're just not going to get sleep!

it's amazing that more baby photos don't have barf in them...seems like that's all that they do for the first few months!
