So, we're living with my parents. Seriously. What's up with that you might ask. Well, we're living here just until we can move into the new one...if that ever happens. We had to be out of our apartment by today, and don't close on the house until the 25th of April(I think), which leaves a month in between of homelessness. My parents, I'm sure, are super excited about us living with them...especially about Gwen living with them. I'm mean, they love Gwen, but she's crazy and out of control. Hopefully they won't hate us by the end of the month. I'm not too excited about her sleeping in the same room as us either. Sleep training will have to happen again once we move. I'm afraid she'll be sleeping in our bed for a month. Yikes.
We're excited about our new house...most of the time. There were some problems when it came to the inspection. The house was built in 61, I think, and had some plumbing issues and electrical problems. When we told the owned what needed to be fixed, she said "it's an old home, they just have to accept that there will be some problems." Her real estate agent told her that that's not how it works. So, we're still working on it. I'm just ready to move in and get to work. It will be a lot of work, but I'm excited to do it and make it our own. Any tips on removing wallpaper?
So, for anyone who is trying to get in touch with us (haha), you'll have to call Morgans cell phone, or my parents house. This was a boring post, but what do you expect, we've been moving and cleaning for a week, I'm beat.

Well, I'm excited for you guys to move into the house. Fo shizzle.
I'm coming up there sometime at the end of this week. Let's get together and hang out.
Good Luck, I'm sure your parents will love to have you there. I'm excited to see more pictures of the house and what you do to it.
best of luck in living with the parental units....i love my parents and all but we go crazy every summer when we're there for a month or so...and this summer we'll be there for 2 months while bret is on rotations....ahhh!!!
Last time we were there we thought it was time that we had our own room with no kids. So we had the girls sleep in my old room. They would just play with eachother instead of sleep so I put mailee down first, waited 20 mins and then took ella in...worked like a charm :) if that didn't work I was seriously debating the closet....no seriously...
I'm glad you knew we were kidding. we started feeling bad because everyone was taking it serious. You will get a special phone call when it does happen - I promise!
Do your parents still have the same phone number. I don't know what number I have for you, but I fully plan on calling when we come to town in May, so let me know how to reach you.
That money egg hunt sounds like a real treasure, how fun! I want to do one, just don't want to have to set it up....give me the money!
Good luck with your parents, at least you have some free babysitting???
I think you should check out the DirectBuy in Draper for any of your "Fixing" up stuff....i may have mentioned it before, but it is ideal for remodels and you get such a bang for your buck.
Keep us posted on all the fun details of transition!
I can totally relate with living with parents. But I am sure your mom and dad will have a great time. And BUMMER about having Gwen sleep with you. I would rather slit my wrists.
