I know it's not even November yet, but working at Tai Pan makes you think about Christmas. All of their Christmas stuff is out, and it's getting me in the mood. Morgan and I have been married for 5 years now, and we have NEVER had our very own Christmas tree. We have always been away from home for Christmas, and have therefore never justified getting one. However, now that we have crazy Gwen, and considering the fact that she's almost 2, is has gotten us to thinking. We need a Christmas tree this year. Gwen, I'm sure, would love it (love knocking it down and breaking the decorations). So with the Tai Pan discount, we are planning a purchase. We are going to buy a tree. Yes it's fake, and for all of you real Christmas tree types, I'm actually one of you, but my mom said that last year they paid $75 dollars for a real live tree. What? So, even though I'm a believer of having a real Christmas tree, I'm also what you could call CHEAP (that's the nice word for it...tight ass might be more appropriate). So, we're going for the fake artificial one. It will be way worth it. Pre-lit, and with the discount...it's too hard to pass up. We have already bought a bunch of ornaments (just the balls - all different sizes) and are working on the details. I just can't resist. So to all of you "Merry Christmas!" Tis the Season!

christmas already?

Cute post and all that jazz, but on to another topic...WHAT?? You dont think that I love Gwenie? What the pee pee? I feel that Gwen and Addi have a close enough bond that they dont need to prove it to the world...they know it in their hearts. (pause for tear removal) Really, I'm sorry we didnt get to come down, my mom felt bad and didnt want me making the 'long' trip alone. I think she just would have been jealous of our good times. But I do feel very bad. And really I am just waiting for the time when Addi can finally run around with Gwen (Oh, Heaven help us) and then they can really cause some trauma. Please dont say those things to me and my blog ever again! Addi thinks her cousins all have giant heads and they all smell funny, so Gwen does not need worry. Merry Christmas!
